Carl “Chip” Kjellberg

 

Chip Kjellberg, the 6’2” 200-pound two time Varsity letterman, is one of Mahwah’s four captains.  He has plenty of experience having been part of the North 1 Group 2 state championship teams in both 2015 and 2016.  Chip was a key starter as center on the 2016 championship team.  This year, he plays both ways at offensive tackle and defensive tackle.    Chip also plays Lacrosse for Mahwah.

 

Off the field, Chip is a great student consistently recognized with Honors and High Honors.  Chip has been perusing top academic institutions for his endeavors beyond graduation.  Chip plans to go onto college to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 

Chip gives back to the community in many ways including:

  • Volunteering at Camp Acorn, an organization dedicated to empowering those with special needs to reach their full potential and live life to the fullest

  • Volunteering at the Mahwah youth football camp teaching young athletes skills, safety, sportsmanship and love of the game
